The Vaiaku Lagi Hotel is situated in the centre of Funafuti town, about 50 meters from the airport and is set on the lagoon side of the island. Visitors have incredible views of the lagoon where they will witness some spectacular sunsets.
The hotel is next door to the government offices, the local police station, the bank and the airport. The staff will happily arrange a customized tour of the island or outer islands if you prefer.
There are 16 rooms in the new complex face the lagoon. Every room is air-conditioned and has hot water, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Internet access is available in all the rooms at a small surcharge.
A conference room is ideal for small conferences, meetings, workshops and training seminars. It is equipped with a video screen and deck as well as white boards. It can accommodate up to 60 guests.
The hotel has its own vehicle and so can arrange transfers to and from the airport.
They have their own restaurant onsite as well as a bar. The restaurant is reasonably priced and offers a variety of dishes served during lunch or dinner. Breakfast is served daily as a breakfast buffet.
Satellite TV is available in the bar and lounge area.
They warmly welcome individual travellers or large groups and are happy to accommodate both short and long staying guests.
